    Default The Package They Carry

Hi there, this is one of my latest pictures, I made it originally for the "We Humans" 3D-Challenge on IT'S ART, where it made the first place.
    It's also included in 3DWorld UK March-09 and 3DWorld Italy April-09.

Base-Meshes with C4D, Sculpting with ZBrush, Textures with Canon EOS 400D and Scanner, Rendering with Fryrender. No postwork except some grain and chromatic abb.

This render is impressive. Although I don't get the idea of the image. Especially the right side. Wouldn't the girl in the pink dress be repulsed by the girl next to her? How do you do Chromatic Abb. in post?

Children accept each other based on eye contact and personality. Symbols do not impress them. These patches and pins are artifacts that honor their parents. Excellent image. Excellent comment. Bravo. The courage to ignore 'Faces' in such an image is commendable and successful. Children are the future.

I don't think a yellow Jude star is very respectful of there parents. That's not something they wore with pride. If the meaning of the picture makes light of what these symbols represent, I fear for those kids future. They will most likely repeat the mistakes of their parents.

I think the whole point of the image is showing how stupid humans can be, seperating ourselves from others because of symbols etc.

Look at the ruins of the world these kids have come into, because of this seperation and hatred of their parents.

But kids naturally all come together and play. The only way they will repeat the mistakes of their parents is if their parents make a big deal out of it, and "seperate" them and teach them how evil their friends are.

I believe they should learn about the history when older. Let kids be kids and learn that they are all the same.

Your "fear" will go into your kids, and yes the circle of hatred will continue another generation.

Eh, the work itself is good but the theme leaves me a bit flat and seems a little iffy.

    YONA: Thanks!
ryu moto: Hard to say, often my Ideas are very spontaneous (a complete Image in my mind). In "The Package They Carry" it's also the case. It's what came first in my mind as I read the theme of the contest ("we humans").
