    Hey everyone!
...seems like there`s a virus on my computer *aaargh*
Althogh I`ve always installed the latest anti-virus updates!!
Some weird things are happening.. one of them is that I can`t scroll down anymore.
That`s a big problem.. I`m glad I found my thread (my profile-view threads)
Thank you for all the comments! I can only read some of them at the moment. I`ll reply as soon as the problem is fixed. I tried to read the comments after I zoomed out with the zoom button in the mozilla browser menu *lol* but it`s too tiny to read then.
I made a backup cd of all my zbrush files yesterday. I don`t know why I`ve done that..because I really don`t do that often... but I`m glad I did.

It`s weekend so there`s nobody who can help me now.
WHY IS THIS ALWAYS HAPPENING ON A WEEKEND????
    I`ll be back ASAP.

    Thanks a lot!
No, it`s based on this concept from Adrien Smith :

    Hey Moni!!

Glad your pc problem got solved hehe :P

I landed this super awesome deal where I get to sculpt up to 10 characters for a comic being released next year! My stuff will be used in promotional purposes.

So I have been Zculpting like crazy! I really hope I´m allowed to show some of the stuff soon.

This guy looks awesome! You´ve got one h*ll of a job in front of you sculpting all that armor hehe

    All the best /jonas

Yeah, good start on the anatomy. The concept is great. I know Adrian Smith work from the rulebooks of Chronopia, a fantasy table top game we used to play (quite long ago...). He is one of my favorite creature designers and his work is still an inspiration.

    Cheers
    I would prefer not to.

This last model is looking good
Its kinda early to crit, but I'd take a look at the back, but I know its very early.
Keep it up mate, looking forward to the next update.

Fernando Kuhlmann: Thanks a lot, Fernando! It`s cool that you`ve also entered the 3D Production Challenge. Best of luck! I need to check out your updates later.
    Energise:
Hey Jonas, thanks a lot! Hehe.. yep.. the armor .. I have to say it`s pretty easy to create and sculpt the armor in Zbrush.. but there are so many parts.. whew...
Regarding your job -- WOW, that sounds fantastic (it also sounds like a LOT of work ) but in the first part it`s fantastic. Congrats! I can`t wait to see it.
Ecthelion: Thank you very much! Yes, I agree -- he`s a great artist.

    Mihail Kounelakis: Thanks a lot!
-Storm-:Thanks a lot for the compliment and the critique. I agree with you.. the back is looking strange at the moment. I haven`t worked much on it yet, but I hope it`ll look better in the end.

    ------------------------------------------------

    New Update

    I started with the armor.
Although I`ve never done something similar to date it was pretty easy to create it in Zbrush. I`ve used the functions of the Deformation Palette and I`ll use the Hard Surface brushes for the modeling later. I want it to look handmade and not too clean.. just wanted to say that before some of you wonder why a lot of parts will be asymetric.
I also added the ztiches on his breast/stomache and started modeling a skull.
This is my skull basemesh. I need four skulls in the end and each of them will look slightly different.

    update 01.jpg

    C+C as always welcome.
    Thanks for watching!

His arms should be longer. His elbows should be at the top of his hips and his forearm should be at least a head length.

Also his head should be a bit larger as well.

Keep up the good work Moni!
