Thanks a lot, Danconia! I need to check that. Have you seen the original concept above? His arms seem to be a little shorter there, too.. (?)
    I don`t think he`s a normal guy.

Hey Moni! Update looks very good! Needless to say, the work on the skull is great!

As for the arms thing, here's my 2 cents: I attached a size comp pic. it's hard to get a good comparison due to differences in perspective distortion between the original and your Z-screenshot but: you might notice that the hips (belt) are somewhat higher on the concept (as well as the knees) this is why the concept's short and blocky arms do get halfway on the thigh (when the concept would spread his fingers, the fingertips are not that far away from the knee). Easy enough to test this out on a lopoly version . I would make sure that the arms have the same length though.

(Darn it, Etchelion is right about working on a external harddrive/usb stick ... )

Looking forward to the next update .

    branduarte: Thanks a lot, Cezar!
    SolidSnakexxx:
    Yong, thank you very much!
Etcher: Thank you so much for the image. I haven`t done something like this, so this will be very helpful.
The whole proportion thing is difficult for me -as you know .. and the perspective of the concept makes it even harder.
Thanks again for taking time to make this pic. I appreciate it.

ZBC I missed you a lot!

Fiiiiiiiinally I have some time to upload a few pics of a cartoon creature I modeled a few weeks ago.
I had so many things to do and almost no time to check out ZBC.
I have three other models which are almost done. Just a few final details are missing... but arrrrrrrgh.. no time at the moment.
I`m working hard on 6feet tall creature sculpture but more about that in a few weeks.
Now back to the cartoon creatue..
It was for the company Materialise and I won a 3d print which they turned into a pair of bookends.
I have so many books and since I`ve started learning Zbrush I`ve also started collecting art and anatomy books..and they often fall over.
I`m so happy to have bookends now (I always forgot to buy some ) and on top of that with my own model.
Here are a few pics. I hope you like it.

    The Lettereater
    This is a little Lettereater.
Lettereaters love to eat.... yes, right -- letters.
You better watch out if one of them is near your books!

Pics of the 3d print bookends (yep.. I know.. I won`t have a chance to become a photographer )

    Untextured version:

And a turntable video. No HD unfortunately. I totally forgot that ZBC supports YoutubeHD now. I first need to download some programs.

C+C as always welcome. Thanks for watching!

hey Moni-Poroni welcome back. like the letter eater it has a lot character and life really like the color choices you used on him, it must be pretty cool to have a physical copy of him next to you ..you have made loads of progress since you first started posting..

i have been thinking alot myself about bringing something to finished detailed state and getting it printed but not sure what company does the best job at capturing all the detail .. always enjoy seeing your work looking forward to your next project..

Hey, welcome back! Congrats on getting the print. Your creature is very interesting as always. I'm intrigued to see what this 6ft one is.
