It's been a few years since I posted anything. Decided to put some junk up I have played with in the intervening time. Some old, some new, some crap. It's been a while since I got to use Z-Brush to play...
Hi Dickie!
I always give a try to your "Paper-Sketch" mat at my models, I absolutely love it!
Nice work on the heads, I remember the first on the left and love absolutely the one in the center.
Nice work on the Saurus... and stunning effect on rendering the skin
Guti: I'm very happy you like the Sketch material! I still use that occasionally. It's a nice change from the usual photoreal stuff.
Peter: Your work is a MAJOR inspiration for me. I have your webpage bookmarked from when I started working on the dinos. As for the Morrocan's skin, I think it's a variation of the skin I posted a while ago. I used a material that Lil D came up with and modified it from there. You can look in my old threads for it or if you want, I can repost it.
When i did the dinos, i only had like 3 days a piece for them. That's why I only posted the Starikosaurus and the Triceratops...well, he'll be up in a moment. TV production just doesn't allow for much time to do the quality i want to do...
HELLO MY FRIEND!!!!!!!
Nice to see you here again!!
I like your things! and like alwasy very interesting materials. I keep using your plastiline mat you gave me few years ago.
Considering that your work is what helped teach and inspire me, I'm just thrilled you dig the dinos... Your compliments truly honor me, Thank you!
As for the moroccan skin, I don't have the original doc that the image I posted is from, as that went POOF when my last computer died. But I do have a doc i made you with the skin material and some lights you can play with. I hope you get some good use out of them...Just load the file as a document in Z-Brush and the materials will load in. Save the materials and the lights and have a blast...
Better yet, play with this skin shader and light rig. It is my favorite for human type characters. Again, load the document in Z-Brush, as a document, and save the skin shader, Eye shader, and light setup. I think you shall enjoy it greatly. And don't forget to post your results. I wanna see 'em...
