I am starting another thread as to not break the theme of my first thread. These posts will be a bit more "Non-cute" and I am spending a little more time working on them although they are usually completed in one sitting.
Everything is completely done in Zbrush.
Several things that speed my process up are beginning by saving several documents with preferred lighting setups and saving several versions of the materials I use with various colour bumps and specularity. With a large and growing texture library, I polypaint the models and let the colour bumps do the work.
I know that with more time I can improve on my models, but for now my goal is to create a completed image in several hours.
I created this model way back in Zbrush 2 and it had a number of flaws. Now with decimation master, I quickly fixed some of them and polypainted it. It's still far from perfect and his center of gravity is a bit off. (You can see it in his face). I figured I might as well post it...
