caffeine this is nothing new, the early zbrush was mostly 2d, and i have to say its nice to see some 2d instead of the same old stuff lately. and considering that z did this since the beginning you already are looking at a zbrush specific site.

On the Pixologic video 1st page it shows Mauro Patrizi drawing a perspective grid and using striagt lines any info on this was done would be appericated.

Also some helpers for making grids

Create some of your own grid papers and save as a download pdf (has polar grids)

It seems he draw a single straight line - pressing the lines button - and after that activates rotate mode (R), and make various snapshots (shift+s) of this line, around its rotation pivot.

If you want to make a perspective grid inside Paintstop, you can try the following:

    1. Click on menus button, so the default Zbrush menus will show again.
    2. On the tools pallete, chose plane3d. Adjust the number of divisions on the Initialize section.
    3. Draw your grid on the canvas. And enter rotate mode. Shift+F will make wireframe visible.
    4. Now you can adjust perspective using the draw pallete, and the position using move, sclae, rotate.

    Hope this helps!

    STEP 1.
You can make a line using the line tool in PaintStop

    step1.jpg

    STEP 2.
After you draw a stroke to the canvas you can press the
W, E, R key to move, scale, or rotate your stroke.

    step2.jpg

    STEP 3.
Then you can press shift+S to duplicate a stroke

    step4.jpg

    STEP 4.

Then when you are finished you can press "Q" to move back to draw
mode and draw more strokes to your canvas.

    step5.jpg

    Hope that helps!
I answered a question like this earlier in the thread.
Here is a video I made showing the process.

This is a great plug in,thank you very much!
Only a little request(i don't know if it's allready possible),can the size sens have negative values?
A thing I do in Corel Painter is controlling the size of the stroke with the pressure, but inverted,so stroking strong gives me little and black line and stroking weak gives me soft and big size strokes, useful for doing nuances(or maybe using the tilt for that).
Btw,it's great, really good feeling using it.

Default Naughty little Satyr sitting in a tree, S.M.O.K.I.N.G.

Just a quick doodle in my lunchbreak i thought, give paintstop another go...
    ...2 1/2 hours later....(grrrrr, why I oughda)
Still, it came out ok. Feels quite french graphic novel, which pleases me because I'm a a bit of an afficionado.
