    Default Wolfen warrior - WIP

Hi guys, this is my new project : the Wolfen warrior.
I've been a huge fan of role playing games (real ones, not videogames) and human / wolf creatures have always been what I prefer, for they can be powerful yet not intelligent.
Here's my idea of the warrior. This is just the first step, I started from the dog model that comes with Zbrush, I posed it, retopologized and started to separate he parts as subtools.

I hope you guys will like the final result, I plan on spending as much time as needed to make it like what's in my head.

Today's update. I didn't have much time to work on it. I focused on what I always have trouble with (face, hands / feet) and started to define the secondary elements.

Once I'll have all the elements in place I'll start to add the details.

    C & C welcome.

A new update ... I finally added some muscle shape (much needed), which makes it better looking.
I'll start to add details to the clothes, and add some elements to the scene so we get the feeling that he is a warrior.

I hope that you like it

Another update, last one today I think.
More details, finished the nails, redid the clothing on the belt.

And another update ... More details, and 1 thing incredibly important that I forgot : eyes...
Sometimes I wonder how I manage to function daily without seeing stuff like that

Color now ... I wasn't supposed to work on it today, but ZBrush was definitely more fun than cleaning the apartment so ...

I didn't have any comments I suppose that my little sculpt leaves you all speechless (nice dream isn't it).
I doubt it's the truth so any pointers to what seems wrong or what could help me bring the project to the next level are welcome.

    Thx guys.

Ok this is my last update before having the final render. I know there are areas that are not exactly perfect (ground, the stone where he stands, etc...) but I'm feeling kind of burned with it.
I hope you still like it, and as always Comments & critics are welcome.

    Thx guys (and girls)

Hey man. Sorry to post so late in your thread when from what you said you're burned out from working on this project....again, sorry about that.

Anyway, just a couple of things, nothing really about the anatomy, more the pose, flow and action line that is portrayed with this piece. From the angle that I did the paint over is where it shows the strongest, but it is there through out the piece and from every angle.

Just my 2cents, and I have been drinking this evening...so eh, take it or leave it.

Keep bone structure in mind, and watch your silhouette.

goast666> Thx man. No problem you know, you can't help everybody, you already do a lot for everybody on the forum (which is great). I agree with you for the pose, I wanted at first to have something close to what you draw ..... but as I suck with transpose I decided to keep on with what I had at the time.
I'll try to correct that but it may be challenging to correct it now. We'll see. thx again for having taken the time to do the drawing, I appreciate.

dustinbrown> Thx. I'm not sure to see what you're pointing out there, I wanted the head to be elongated this way. The jaw could be a little more square, agreed but I'll keep the length it has though. Thx for your time too

A little update with the pose comments. I hope you like it better. It's hard to change the pose right now because I don't feel like redoing it all. Anyway, I think it's a bit better now.

    Thx everybody

    Hi guys

It's been a while since I had time to work on this (rough 2 weeks, real rough, a nightmare)
Here's an attempt to compositing the final piece, I'll make another angle and then I'll pass to something else.

    composition1.jpg

I'll have to do something for the teeth that don't show, and a little more details in photoshop.

    Comments & critics welcome
