This is where i got to rendering my creature...
Placed him on a set. Lighting and rendering in Maya, Mentalray..
The set was a part of an old project....
Since the skinning of the character is not final i didnt want to pose him ...
will do that for the final shot..
So we can call this a semi-final shot ..
Any suggestion to make this image more interesting are welcome.. wolf@gate.jpg

I especially like the new more muscular sculpt here. I'm curious if you used any reference for the anatomy?

One of my friends suggested brightening up the image ....
so i just made some changes..
brightened the image, gave it a different tint..
removed the glowing particles and added some fog..
    Hope it looks good..

nice start Ravi! Started a zombie head myself recently...
When I was thinking about adding a body , i thought about things like wasting limbs away, so that maybe one of his arms was bone from the bicep down to the wrist, broken fingers, rotted flesh with bits of intestine hanging out?
I look forward to seeing where you go with it, buddy

Rawsunlight : Thanks for your time buddy . wasting limbs, assymetry on the way...keeping it fairly symmetric for the time being.. Good luck on your zombie !!!!!

    little update on the head

Default Dinner time ...lets go hunting ...

    This is my latest work.....
(Never got any free time to work on the zombie...busy with some work..anyway it will be continued sooner or later..)
Most of the work on the snake was done in Zbrush..
Photoshop was used to clean up the textures...Rendered using mentalray in maya.
And a little post work as well..
    Comments are welcome...........

i am really diggin the zombie and snake. i think the snake could use a bit more discoloration or maybe some dirt. the environment is also uber clean. maybe add some variation in that to break up the perfection. but the sculpt itself is sweet!
