    Default Rwaak!

Have a bunch of heavy deadlines, nice to be sketching in 4R6... gorgeous and feels very fluid...ZRemesher is amazing, even in spite the spiral flows, and the trim brushes...YES!
look forward to trying out these other new features!

1hour and a bit of PS on top... apologies if I've made your eyes bleed with the eye-watering choice of palette

Default Dafoe da Jokah - doodle

Thought I'd try and eyeball a likeness, as I haven't ever done one in 3D... of course as I started to stretch his face into the pointy chin and big(ger) forehead, I lost the likeness and he started to look more like Bruce Campbell.

I feel like he's in there somewhere though... when caught out the corner of my eye... so might try to find some time to tweak the likeness some more

Amazing to look at his face in detail... I can see the V mask, a Skrull, a proper organic Green goblin, the list goes on...

    Any pointers gratefully received

thanks... although now I'm wondering if you even noticed it was meant to look like Dafoe?
maybe I still need to do some work...

    MORE -- do MORE.

One thing browsing your work makes clear to me is how important is to create nice textures. I've been using a procedural dirt texture in Octane which is fine for what it does, but the raw detail you guys produce with textures is simply stunning. The shark effort for example, absolutely stunning.

    Default Teal'c (Jackson Jaffar)

Thought I'd try eyeballing another likeness tonight... it's getting there, but I'm knackered, so will have to pursue some other time.
Might try using the see-through mode to correct the proportions, which I think are pretty off, especially the eyes?
Weird though, I'd get the front, the side would get thrown out; I'd adjust the side and then the front would be off again...likenesses are hard!

If I can get the likeness right, might add some pulp fiction sideburns and afro, lose the silly SG logo thingy, and try for a proper render

From a dynamesh sphere... didn't break symmetry but it's just for fast concepting

Default Hell Is An Itch You Can't Scratch - Final

Done for the BadKing Monster Challenge... has really made me feel like I can do a lot more than just head doodles.
Don't know if it's quite as good as I hope it is, but I am pleased I pulled the whole thing together and I feel like I learned a lot... and in the end, I can't ask for more
That said, if you like it, please vote for it at:

Any thoughts or comments always appreciated... one thing I will mention is that the vast expanse of (rather boring) beard was meant to serve as a frame for something long, pointy curved and inflamed rising up from his groin, but some things as best left unsaid
