RawSunlight: in most situations, a 2nd graphics card is mostly wasted. Instead of spending all that money on 2 GPUs, it'd probably make more sense to go for one of nVidias Quadra cards.

Just read through all this thread from the start. Love the 'Lightwards' illustrations and all the 2.5D images. ZBCentral should have more of these, but they get overlooked in favour of the 3D side.

You mentioned early on that you wanted access to a line tool. I'm sure you've found it now, but just in case...

Have you taken your 3D model into Projection Master ever? Press G and have fun!

thought i'd take a break from my impossibly alien landscape and creatures and do something a little less challenging.
A roughed out WIP - 'Homo Unorthopedicus'
The plan is to do the classic amphibian lurching from the primordial water/rodent/ape/caveman/homo unorthopedicus, but couldn't resist doing a quick a Wolverine gag and giving him some claws.
Of course it's also tempting to put a half deflated blow-up doll in his hand and call it 'Sexy' or 'Rock Star'

    Anywho, today's doodle...

Still avoiding my alien scene somewhat, i thought i'd skirt back round into it by doing some zskiffs of aliensects for my frond plants. Would be nice to put these in 'pure' (so to speak, as the zspheres do look uniquely otherworldly) as tiny throw-away details in the whole piece...

I guess this detail, and the last revision of the overall work are making me feel like it might be worth completing... still not sure though that it's beyond my current skill What's an artist without crippling self doubt

Hey Herman, Try to double the document size then hit the AA half button to get rid of the jaged edges. Good to see you experimenting with all the new tools, funky concepts!!
