Thought I'd make a bit of time to get used to dynamesh...
need to go through the vids again though because I can't
remember how to do the subtraction thing.

1h 20 sketch from a dynasphere, with some PS post work to adjust contrasts

    Default Great Aliens

Under the Geometry tab (You know where you divide reg models), halfway down under Clay Polish, you will see the "Dynamesh" button, once it's highlighted you will be able to divide the model by holding ctrl and dragging. (Do this on the side of the model, not over it). Below the Dynamesh botton is the "Resolution" slider, This slider only matters if you want to retain the details you have already sculpted. THe higher the resolution the more densh the mesh, if it's too low, some detial could be lost.

Then there are various other things there that can give various effects.

Sorry is I am not that detail,... maybe your video is better. I hope I helped a little.

Thanks for that, it was just the subtraction thing that I'd forgotten.
Another dynamesh sketch, 2h from dynasphere

    Default Cyclopathically Handsome

Another dynamesh doodle, just playing with silhouettes... probably around 3h for this one + a little PS post work

Trying to find the time to get back into ZB after months & months of 2D vector work... i've missed it and this version is so much more awesome than when I left off.
So much to learn now though, and feeling a bit dunce-like Have to try out micromesh and the new Lightcap stuff...

    Very nice!

I especially enjoy seeing some thought put into your render palette.

    Default Fat Wars

Felt like livening up the sketch with some eyes and some markings... hopefully good enough for the folio now

Thanks guys, means a great deal to me!
    Another dynamesh doodle
trying hard to get back into all things 3D, but shattered and burned out after a hard day's technical illustrations...
    probably explains the odd horns

Watched Ryan's and Paul's awesome webinar last night, have to watch it again when not so tired in hopes that some of those tricks
    sink in

Another doodle... quick old codger and then some messing with skin shaders and texturing.
Apologies but I couldn't be bothered to rotate and re-groom the eyebrows

Once did some work for Ian Dury's bodyguard... I kinda imagine he might look like this now
