New Paint Stop rough concept (to tidy up the composition on another -3D- doodle that didn't go so well - see my gallery)
This kinda sorts out the tension a little. Will make the foreground tree a lot more prominent as soon as I get the feeling back in my legs
btw imo Paint Stop needs -NEEDS- more layers; tougher than things need to be without them!

Playing with soft pastel colours; the face kinda reminds me of something I've seen way back when though I can't for the life of me place it...anywho

Eeeep! Starting to feel like I'm creating my own gallery here now... sorry
Here's another doodle I'm afraid, although on the plus side, am beginning to enjoy the discipline of bugger all layers
Started out as a nice disproportionate Egon Schiele kind of a sketch, but once I took it somewhere i'm no longer sure that big hands and legs thing works...
Still...

Hey Moni-Poroni, i just used an old texture photo i'd taken down at a gun range as a very translucent base layer... no great trick I'm afraid, but i often find these things add a nice grain to a piece.
