    Hi Glenn,

That's looking good ... however the speed bag is too low unless thats a 6' 8" fighter! Cheers, David

Thanks David...Your right......For now,I just grabbed one of the Mohammad Ali scuptures that I did earlier and stuck him in there..I don't know if i'll keep him for this scene...If I do, i'll have to straighten him up so that if I make him smaller, his gloves will be at the right angle to hit the bag....I'll probably end up making a whole new figure with a better pose for the action, and have taped hands instead of gloves...Just trying to get the room built for now, and some kind of dramatic lighting setup going on,..which is turning out to be harder than I thought it would be..but i'll get it right ..just a matter of alot of trial and error as always.....Hey ,..Thanks for the nice photo by the way..another one that will be useful as I go along..Really like the lighting in those earlier ones you sent me...been keeping that kind of lighting in the back of my mind as I work on this piece..makes for a nice mood for this subject..

    Hi Glen,

You are welcome! That last photo however was not mine, I just grabbed it from a video on Youtube. Let me know if you need any help/advice with this as you progress.

    All the best,

    David

Hi Glenn, as long as you take everything I say with a grain of salt. Counting on you to keep me on the straight and narrow as well! I am really liking the lighting and sense of motion on and around the speed bag. Cheers, David

Hey...Thanks David....Don't worry man...I take everything with a grain of salt...and sometimes even a pound of salt is not enough...LOL ...No room for exploration, error or happy mistakes to be learned from on that straight and narrow path..But I will keep an eye on your work...for sure...

    Hi Glenn,

Its coming along well .... I think we should hightail it for Mealea's boat before the inclement weather hits!

More fun this morning with this boxer speed bag piece...Trying to get not only the motion of the speed bag,..but also the vibration it causes as it slams into the backboard that it's hanging from.
