Hey..Thanks David..Helps if I have a good refference to study the form a little bit before I work on it, just to get a feeling for it, and you keep giving me some great refference and great input at the right times...Just want you to know, that I really appreciate all the very contructive help that you have given me...Thanks Man...
    Glenn

Sculpted on this boxer this morning..lots of changes..broader chin, broken nose, mouth ect....still lots of refinements left to do yet...Going to put this head when i'm done with it onto the boxer that's tapeing his hand.

Hi Glenn, That is looking really, really good! I can't wait to see it on the body! The face is strangely familiar ... perhaps an amalgam of several fighters from the past. All the best, David

Hey..Thank You David ...He looks a little like Muhammad Ali to me from certain angles when I spin him around....Wouldn't take much work on the sculpting end of things to get a true likeness I think.
I'll probably put this bust onto that body of the boxer tapeing his hand tommarrow, now that he has his shoes on...
This fiber brush is really a trip..can't wait to see what evolves over in your neck of the woods..should be Great.
    Keep on Truckin David..
    Glenn

Just another angle and a little different light setup on this first Fiberbrush exploration of mine before I call it a night tonight.

Taking a break from the boxers this morning for a minute to do some experimenting and exploring with the new features in ZBRUSH.
Dusted off a piece that I started a few monts ago ..I think it will be a good one to explore LightCap further, and of course the new FiberMesh for the fur on the lions, and maybe some plants, leaves, grasses, mosses ect.
Anyway, nothing too fancy yet,..just a default BPR render in LightCap so far for this post...Should be a fun experiment and exploration... I think

Good Morning David ...Yep...There be animals comeing out of the woodwork now..LOL
Early Birds catch the worms. ..I worked all of the trade shows at the convention centers here in Boston for about twenty years..setting them up, and then breaking them down..Teamsters local 82..up until about five years ago.
Old injuries incurred while doing my time in the Navy as a Launcher Technician..SSBN 618 Thomas Jefferson Blue Crew 1971-74.... and more recent injuries from my time as a Teamster, have left me collecting a disability pension from the Veterans Administration, and in a state of retirement...But even though i'm retired and out of commision now,.. I still can't shake the habit of waking up, and getting up, way before the sun comes up...Old habits die hard..as is the case that i'm finding out..
Nice and quite in the wee hours anyway...gives me a chance to think clearer while I play with my art..
Really like what you've come up with so far while exploring and experimenting with this new FiberMesh feature...No Limits..
    Have a Great One David..

Hi Glenn, something to be said about early morning ... Bianca and I like to get an early start, especially in the Spring or Summer. It's nice and quiet in Brooklyn especially at that hour!

I have been to a few conventions in Boston over the years, may even have crossed paths with you .... was it you busting my b***s over putting in an extra light at my booth?

That must have been a very physical job! Have you always been artistic? Perhaps you missed your calling! Life works in funny ways, at the age of twelve I knew I wanted to be a Physician ... never went down that path, but as I got older I yearned for something in the caregiving field. I started volunteering ... three years on a 24/7 Suicide hotline. Then working in departments of Neurosurgery and NeuroSciences for two years. Great, difficult, but very, very rewarding.

I am getting everything together now to leave on March 13th for Tanzania to a Hospital there with a small team (six to be exact) from the Burn Center to share knowledge about burn care! Tanzania has the worst Doctor to patient ratio of any country in the world. Approx 1 to 30,000. I am documenting the trip and also will be an extra pair of hands to help the Burn Surgeon a few nurses and a Rehabilitation Specialist.

I am so psyched to make this trip!

    Cheers,
    David
