    Gwainbarek and Dapharmer..Thanks guys..

WIP....Shifted and resculpted the right leg of the guy who threw the right hook knock out punch..Right arm has recoiled into the starting position of the right hook punch as he steps out of the punch to reposition and ballance himself,..hovering over the other guy, waiting for him to get up,... not happening.

    Down for the count.

He looks more like he is punching now, but he looks off balance. His left foot should be forward, and the right leg should be back. A little more torque on the upper body would also sell the idea of him just landing the knock out punch.

Derek Frenzo..Thanks..The guy laying on the ground felt the same way about the guy who just layed him out..I guess that he never came up againt a southpaw......But seriously,..a right hook can be fired off while leading with the right leg, just as well as it can be while leading with the left leg...It just has alot more power to it when it is stepped into with the right leg, having the whole weight of the body leaning into it in a forward lunge..also has alot less distance to travel that way...speed is everything..and more distance takes longer..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...XJDwzQ-rg&NR=1

If you look at the guy in the video linked above,..The Victor Belfort vs Josemario Neves fight..second video played,...you will see what I mean..At the end of the fight,...he dropped the other guy three times with a right hook, and each time, his right leg is out front leading into the right hook that droppes the guy...

I agree with you about having more torque in the action of the guy throwing the punch..I'll deffenitly work on that as I go along with this action sequence..That and alot of other things that are off at the moment..
Thanks for your input by the way..much appreciated, and welcomed..

Yes, he could be punching with his lead arm. However, that's not the problem. His position looks a bit awkward/off balance right now; as if, he's about to topple over himself. Unless, that's what you are going for. If not, one leg should be planted more firmly with the other leg positioned to balance him and help him deliver a more forceful blow. Should be easy enough to fix. Yes, some torque would also give more power to the punch. Some examples below:

Webhead..I totally agree with the feet being grounded, or not grounded for ballance problem in my case and last post..I will work on that problem next...and also the torque and stress of the torso and whole body actually that leads into the punch and gives it the strenght and force that it is capable of.
Hey,..thanks a million for those links by the way...That last one is the one that i'm working towards...I haven't used any refferences yet,..Only imagination, a mirror, and memories so far....but that image will for sure be handy when I get into the final details of the action..Thanks Again..

WIP..Tightened up the gesture of the guy that has thrown the right hook..brought his left arm in to defend his face from counter punches...put the hook in his right arm..having it swing toward his left side as it would after it had hit the guy that's going down.,...and put some torque in the pose by increasing the twisting action between the torso and pelvis...shifted his head angle to the side and down, so it is tucked into his shoulder more on the side that is throwing the punch, and so he stares down at the guy falling...also worked on the ballance problem some....still need to refine alot of the muscle actions after making all of these latest changes to the gesture...haven't touched his forams yet...alot to get to, but it's getting there...plus it's just plane old good practice, ..the kind that really forces you to get out of the old comfort box/zone and to think.
Kept all of the major gesture changes,..so I should have enough to work with to make a nice sequence,..from start of the punch to the end and follow through..Haven't made the contact shot yet..saving that for last..

WIP...Doing some sculpting on, and fine tuning on the guy throwing the right hook punch this morning..proportions..longer thinner legs for speed,..and bigger arms and torso for power..still have to work more on the back, and a ton of other stuff.

WIP.....Started working on the making contact shot...Had to adjust and resulpt the arm throwing the right hook to make it look like it is in the act of landing the shot that sends the other guy flying to the mat...still lots of refinements to do yet..but getting closer to the feeling i'm after....Threw in the one shot of the oldest trick in the book...Step on your oponents foot to stop him dead in his tracks, and then nail him with a right hook..Works great for gettingr those little annoying guys that are fast and hard to catch..

It's extremely difficult to involve movement in traditional sculpting. In most cases it turns to be a static frozen capture, a frame-like of a movement.
I was reading what Rodin said about it. What Degas achieved... It's so difficult and almost magical.
Keep working SD, and posting. It's interesting. I'm interested anyway lol.
