The mouth and ears will not be seen so I have only inidicated at the major form. The loose idea is that Rasputin was 'frankenstien'd' during the 1950 - 60s thanks to soviet scientists.

Most of the head will not be seen including the mouth area. I've decided instead of sculpting or rendering out a beard, to use tubes instead. I'm hoping it makes it a bit more steam punk.

Here is my current wip. I am trying not to get too decorative with the steampunk elements. Still more work to be done on the face mask, need to add the hoses now.

Really cool work. The face is well done (for what is showing) and everything is clean. looking forward to seeing more.

oh boy, looks like I've got some crunch time tomorrow. The bottom of the tubes still need to be positioned properly.

Were the tubes all Zbrush? If so please share a quick overview of your workflow for creating them. Keep up the great work!

The tubes were modelled and rigged in 3dsmax so I could position them easily (actually modelled and rigged just one tube, then copied the hierarchy). I'd imagine a similiar setup could be done with the new zshperes/zsketch maybe?

Thanks for sharing, I would have done it the same way. Im sure it can be done in Zbrush but just a bit more tedious.
