    Great new stuff, Frederik!
I haven`t posted since months and you say "its been a long time since I've had anything to show". Sometimes I hate you.

But don`t forget -- I also hate when you don`t post often, hehe.

    Thanks buddy, really appreciate it

Finally I finished my retopo of the croc thingy, now lets see how many years it will take untill I pull myself together and take it futher:
    Untitled-5.jpg
    Untitled-4.jpg

I actually did the entire retopo in blender, and the only reason these shots are from maya is because, blender is really really really really extreamly bad at showing wireframes.

    CC very welcome

    Looking good!
Would you recommend blender as a retopo app?
Since Zbrushs solution is so bad I've ben thinking about buying Topogun, but since Blender is free it might be worth looking in to...

    Thanks mate!
Yeah I most definitely would, personally I prefer it to both topogun and nex, although topogun 2 is looking really tempting (haven't tried 3D coat yet).

The advantage with blenders topo tools is that it simple just sticks to the surface, but other than that, nothing is different from your normal modeling tools, unless you paint the topo of cause.
The other great thing about it is that it is extreamly simple to set up.
I think the only problem people will have is actually learning blender, lets face it, it kinda have some strange controls.
And the topo feature is only in 2.49 I'm gonna have to contact them and get them to implement it in 2.56 (which is currently beta).
If you decide to test it out, feel free to drop a question, and I'll try to help you get started

Okay, then I'll try it out!
So what you do is that you export the ZTL as an obj at it's lowest level, with some painted guidelines. And after you have changed the topology you just import it into Zbrush again and project all the details? (I guess Blender isn't GoZ enabled?)
