    Default IQUISHI (Alien Creature)

Hi there! This is my most ZBrush-based work I did until now, originally done for a Challenge. It was also my last work with 3.1
I want to polypaint the creature and render it in fryrender. Maybe I'll animate it

P.S.: If someone reads the Story about this Creatures, here it is
"The Iquishies are a small folk living on a rough planet somewhere in the universe. They have evolved as creatures who can withstand strong winds, rough temperatures and high levels of radiation. However, at the same time they need to save energy, and so evolution has left them almost unable to move. As the food resources shrank, they teamed up with other creatures living on the planet to build machines that make them able to walk, explore new living places and collect food."

Here's a Turntable I made, please watch in HD + Sound

(I wrote the music especially for Iquishi, but incorporated it later in my 7 Pieces for Piano.)

Really cool. I would like to see more in this style. Reminds me a little bit of something that would be in a Final Fantasy universe.

    Thanks everybody

I plan to colorize and animate my little Iquishi. Yet I tried to put him out of ZBrush into C4D to render it in Arion.

I used the Decimation Master to reduce the polycount (after decimation it's 1,3 Million Tris). I used the UV Master to make per one-click acceptable UVs to just bake the Cavity Mask on. The Cavity Mask is used as Weight Mapping Texture in the Arion-Material.

Lighting was done here with HDR Light Studio in combination with Arion's Matte Floor-Feature.

So here are some studio-like renders, hope you like them:

Note: Those are Renders, not 3D Prints

Okay! That's it for now. Next step is to colorize the little creature ...

If you had added more sandlike printer grain you would have fooled me
    Very nice rendering.
Arion is gpu/cpu hybrid based isnt it?
How long did you render per frame?

    Default One word

    GREAT AND GREAT
    BEAUTIFUL DETAILS....
What the nivel of subdivision¿? Do you do topology the base mesh¿?
Neve i can reach this nivel of details, more o my model after polish cand divide more Nivel4..

"I used the UV Master to make per one-click acceptable UVs to just bake the Cavity Mask on. The Cavity Mask is used as Weight Mapping Texture in the Arion-Material"= if you use decimation, you don´t lost the UV that you did with UV MASTER¿? I said this because last night i decimate my new model (automate, see my thread), and i did decimate all subtools, after merge all and export for render in C4D but i lost all the UV.... when you decimate all subtools and merge all, is posible polypainting and export the texture for render in C4D, how you prepare yours UV if the model is decimate¿?¿?

Hehe, yes, I could have baked some noise and used it as Bump-Map there. But it's just testing of Decimation Master etc.

    Yes, and it's great I let those render 3 up to 10 Minutes. Rendered with a GTX850 and a QX6700 (4x2.66)
