    Talking The Cellist Part 2

Here's part two of the Cellist installment. Below is a snippet of the room I referenced. It's the Salon Dore from the Corcoran Museum of art. Its a rococo style room removed from France in the early 1800's. I had over 100 photos I took the last time I visited. Let me know what you guys think.

Default #1 in the Bearded Men Series

He was made using Zbrush and photoshop. It's been forever since I've done stylized characters. Comments and Critiques welcome.

Default Basquait Work in Progress anatomy

I've been working on the sculpt of the famous painter, Basquait for a while now. I decided to reference the actor who played him in the movie because there is more reference of him than the artist himself. I admit I've gone over board on the anatomy. I would appreciate any comments to help me soften him back up to match the reference. I'm still having a tricky time getting his likeness just right. I believe it's his fat folds on his face that need some love. Comments and critiques welcome. Cheers!

    Default Basquiat- Progress Portrait

I got some time to work on his face. The challenge of getting his subtle face muscles pressing through is a hard road but very rewarding so far. If anyone is out there Comments and Critiques are welcome

what i see is that nose tip shape is wrong, temples and jaw a tad too wide, indent of nose bridge goes too deep. filtrum too big and pronounced...anyway already great work, a little tweaking will get you there.

    Default BodyandFaceUpdate

    Thank you Kokoro!
I committed all of your suggestions to his face. I 've been beefing up his muscle and tendon areas for better transitions between his larger volumes. Here are some of my latest hours of sculpting his legs back and abs.

    Cheers. Comments and Critiques welcome.

    Default Basquiat Wip

I beefed up and re-proportioned some of his limbs for a more natural silhouette. I started sculpting and texturing the environment he'll be walking on as well. Comments and Critiques are welcome.

    Default Nietherbeing Remastered

This guy is being printed at three feet tall by a 3d printing company for promotional purposes. I might finish paint job as well now that I know the essentials. Cheers.

    Default Basquiat Update

I've made some progress with diffuse maps and eyebrows and thing. I also started doing some Vray skin tests which I'm not yet happy with . The hair is going to be a bear to do right but Paplander's tutorial should help me with the dreadlocks. Any comments and critiques would help.

    Default Lady Mary Crawely-Downton Abbey

I started a sculpt of Lady Mary Crawely from Downton Abbey. I was really inspired after I saw a Downton Abbey Costume Exhibit in Delaware over the Holidays. Comments and Critiques are Welcome. Any fans out there?

    Default Downton Abbey Update

Here's an Anatomy and pore update for Lady Mary from Downton Abbey. I'm still not happy with the likeness. I know there are male Downton Abbey fans out there so don't be shy. I just got the Anatomy for Sculptors book which is awesome. I also ordered 3d totals anatomy figures both the male and female figures. I'll be in business to get my chops up before my first job.

Comments and Critiques are welcome if anyone is out there. Cheers!
