    there is XP 64bit i believe, though i hear it has horrible driver support.

    I learned that the hard way.

    Fortunately RAM is cheap nowadays so it wasn't an all too costly lesson and I'll move on to 7 eventually anyway.

    Don't worry I have win 7 32bit with 4gb ram and only 3gb of ram is used Need to upgrade but sadly no money

    Anyhow I got up to 400000 tri's before Sculptris crashed on my quad core lol

    Even though this was solved... A little tip, if not already mentioned, is hiding geometry that you're not working on to alleviate lagging caused by high polygonal counts... and you'll be able to work way beyond several hundred thousand triangles by doing so.

    You know it doesn't lag up to 1 million but it does start to spontaneously shut down at 300.000 which isn't all too much for sculpting.
    I'll try that next time, maybe it helps.
