Hi Zbrushers ! Have you forget this new tool ?

Zbrush have 2 Sprays !!! Stroke/Spray
Multicolors or variation of a same color !
With a lot of regulatings!
You can put an 3d Object in the flood
Astonished ! It will snowing tea-pot or double Helix of DNA
Every day a new discovery ! 1 minute realised !
Pilou

if you confine orientation by deselecting continuous in picker - orientation and vary draw heighth/width relations now and then you can create neato alphas (and textures) for creating city scapes the alpha century way in no time at all

Hi Juandel
Another little trick for have many orientation without “Picker” is use 2 Layers
In one draw many little sphere3D (with the spray  and on the other Cube3D !
Cube3D are flood with random take the Pixol of the sphere3d  so they have random orientation
Erase the layer with spheres.
Cube3D or others objects 3D can of course have Texture/material! (they have not here just colors

merci frenchy pilou pour cette superbe astuce!
many thx for this great tip!
:+1:
(:])

I didnt forget it , I use it for :
-Painting textures like skin (automatic variation in color)
-Spread flowers over some grass.
-adding leafs to a tree by spraying them on spheres (delete spheres afterwards)
-Bumpbrush , to create rockformations
…

very handy and time consuming tool

Curvilinear perspective is very easy !
Thx Escher and Andre Barre & Albert Flocon

Here is not a realy curvilinear Pers because Cube3D are not deform, just oriented on the sphere 3D.
For more dramatic or real curve perspective see the post below.

Another little trick
Take a Cub3D before draw it : Modifiers/Deformations/Pespective/ (xyz all 3 On) 100
You have now a cube3D with an exagerate pespective !
Texture as you want. Spray
Pilou 1 minute realised. Is not Amazing ?
Absolutly not Post production, no best render Nothing
:sunglasses:

I didn’t forget. I used it in all of the different backgrounds of my Graphire Pen pictures, as well as others:

My Graphire Pen

Curvilinear perspective more orthodox
Not yet perfect ! Cubes must be curvated themselve! With a little “spherisation” may be approache the phenomemon  See below coming soon

A great inspiration and reminder to play more in ZBrush. Lovely examples Frenchy and all. :+1:

95% spray stroke

I love the spray stroke, I have been playing with it since I got 1.5. Here is a little something I did a little while ago using the spray stroke and an alpha of a rose that I made and a little smudge work in the background.

:white_small_square: :white_small_square: :white_small_square:

And here is another one done using the sweep profile tool and a little transparency.

:white_small_square: :white_small_square: :white_small_square:

Spray brush can be used for 2d painting as well.
This was my last, also using a tablet (christmas) so thanks for you advice Frenchy, I’ve enjoyed using it.

When I got ZBrush 1.51 at first, FC and I did a lot of experiments with the spraybrushes. What we found was that at small sizes the program crashes. This image was done using mainly the spray brush. Sorry for reposting it but members forget so quickly.

AWESOME!! Will definately go and take a look, looks like fun rather than work

Pilou
Ps The green grass is Fiberbrush.
2 minutes for the 1, 1 minute for the 2 !
Zbrush is very speedy fun
Disadvantage : imagination and inspiration can’t be follow

Took a look, but were do I find the spray stroke?

SQS, look for Spray and Colorized Spray in the Stroke pallette, only in version 1.5 and later – each icon is a cluster of dots

Nice thread you have going here Frenchie! congratulations!
