Hey Floyd, nice job with the model its clear that ur improving through looking at ur sculpts. Just be a little more cautious of things like topology on the fingers and toes, and leg anatomy.
    keep it up

AWESOME FINN, you need to make Jake and Marceline!

Casey i love that 'baby song' from the jiggler i sing it to my bunnies all the time, and Marceline's eyeball song from henchmen.

easily my favorite show on tv.

caseyjames: What a small world - you and everyone involved do an excellent job! Thanks for looking, I hope you like them!

spaceboy412: Much appreciated - I want to do a handful of characters if I can, and make a little pedestal scene.

Still working on some Adventure Time fun - figured why the hell not. Gave Finn a mouth, along with Jake to keep him company.

    Awesome character.

Besides Jake, certainly something slimey with many eyes lives in Mr. Adventure Time's super cool backpack.

Amazing animation style sculpture going on.

    EDIT --

Ermmm . . . pardon my wretched cartoon ignorance. I thought you invented these blokes. Then googled and wikied Adventure Time. I should just stay under my rock.

Then again, you did reinvent them in 3D, so . . . if you make a nice 2 minute short and send it into Cartoon Network . . . bam . . . instant fame and treasures galore.

Maybe deconstruct them even further, by giving them 3d cartoon skeletons. Or at least skulls. Everything 3D must include skulls.

Anyway Still Awesome 3D translation and Zsketchbook.

ravioli_rancher: Oops! I should have been more clear on the creators. Honestly, I found out about Adventure Time fairly recently and was really captivated by it. Thanks for the awesome ideas - I'm not sure I'll be able to make an animation but I want to pose them all if I can.

eldany: Yeah - thank you! By all means, dont let me stop you. Thanks for looking.

    Oooookay. One Princess Bubblegum: so...much...pink...

Would like to take a break work on something different tonight - I'll see what I can come up with. Some anatomy studies maybe...

Reading back through your thread, I think you made it clear enough for everyone in the universe, but me. Some people.

Again, awesome 2D to 3D interpretations. Certainly could be a nice episode, much like the Simpsons once did in a Tree House of Horror episode (Homer gets sucked into the 3rd dimension and finds an Erotic Cake Bakery.)

If you're really looking for something different to work on, I humbly suggest looking into rigging and animating one of these Adventure sculpts. What could go wrong? Other than ninja's stealing Princess Bubblegum's diamond mines, of course.

    Cheers.

Well - it's been a while. Hardware issues aside, I'd like to make a little comeback with something simian in nature...

    Default great restart

nicely done broo, loving the stylised proportions!

if your in need of some crits, i'd recommend some more work around the nose, flatter (more into the face) and the tip needs to pull back to the face more, revealing more nostril.

also i think the brow needs to be heavier from the top of the head (wrinkles pouring over forehead) rather than being large shapes at the front.

looking good though, keep it up

Some much needed experimentation with 2.5D texture creation. Just one block here repeated to make a 2048x2048 tileable texture. Probably needed to put more than one variation in but I was getting my feet wet, heh heh.

Want to do some more - had fun!
