Default The TF2 MannConomy - ever wanted to sell your zbrush creations to gamers?

    Hey folks,

Just wanted to post this in case artists here haven't seen it. Today Valve released an IN-GAME store will lets any 3D artist submit an item to be sold in the store.

    http://vimeo.com/15478658

the first items in the store were created as part of the polycount.com contest. Some of whom are also ZBC members here.

I thought other people here at zbrush central might like a heads up.

I wish this kind of thing existed when I first started out as a 3D artist.

yeah, this is just great. you want new weapon - pay for it. "thanks" valve. there are totally no studios who make games in order to please players. right now its just a business. and thats reaaly sad story.

I mean valve was one of the studios who made free dlc, free games and etc. now is totally different.

    It's still FREE.

IF you want you can also pay for items. Then get the item and not have to wait for it.

Anyways. Good move on Valve's part wanting to help out 3D artist make a little profit.
It won't get smooth till you knock off some edges.

I think it could be awesome for players and creators alike.

Community created content could mean lots and lots more cool TF stuff too choose from.
