    Default Minotaur_Wip

    Hay guys
    thought it was time i posted something i have been working on as it`s been forever and a day of thinking about posting.
    The amazing work that is on the forum is outstanding and intimidating

    But here goes..

    This is a Minotaur i have been playing with for the last few weeks over thinking and dithering about and taking far longer than needed on what to do.
    But I think finally have a look / design

    The idea is a lord of the rings type battle monster that’s at the front line with the troops following behind.
    I am going to use the harness to have a giant flag strapped to him for the front lines.

    Take a look, see what crits you can think of. All welcome.
    Again guys there is some totally awesome talent on this
    forum amazed every time i visit keep it up guys

    Shazam! Great piece. I would love to see more of it, like progress shots, etc...and anything else you may have that you have been thinking about forever to post.

    This is awesome. Great material - and that is the least of it. Great anatomy, costume design, and all of it.

    The lair of tissue near the armpit is a bit odd. It just looks a tiny bit lumpy. Or it 'waves' in an odd way. That's the only thing I would do.

    bLawless :Thanks - the material is called Mudcap1 am cirten it got posted here ages ago but i cant remember who by sorry .
    ah for the lump your tottaly right it`s anoyed me for a wile i will be going over the anatomy propley once the harness etc is finished and i can see what parts can be seen and where the harness pushes the skin etc as well as adding battle scars thats why the legs are a bit ruff and ready as thair not fin mostley because i want to retop it soon too

    But till then here`s the fixed arm

    Nice sculpture here. Excellent details.
    What I noticed is this 3* . Some weird people around these days. They just vote and never comment. This rating system should be stopped. A resume of stars should be enough. This now is unfair.

    What else are you planning to do with the body, specifically on the modeling aspect not including armor.

    Shadowscheme : My plans are going to be after a retop i am gonna go over the shapes and anatomy again get rid of lumbs bumps and the things that dont fit properley and a good pass on the face as at the moment the topology dousent work for the nose etc then once am happy that thair will be no major changes i will then look at breaking the symetry with creases on the face/brow etc then it will be adding the finer details like scars and reworking the fur.

    So still lots to do

    Heres a little up date so far ..
    I have been working at trying the look of the flag that will attach to the harness here`s where i am up to .

    getting shaped nicely! just get that armor mor echunky, especially the tail protection, looks almost uut of place...same goes for the cords and chains
