    Default The Apple's Revenge

    A-thumb.jpg

Apples are always getting shot and filmed at high speed for "art's" sake, now it's their turn.

    Apple-Final.jpg

Zbrush models with the 1998 version of Painter for the rest.

    Some earlier work:

John (John Cox's Creature Workshop) cut this piece out for me as my big cnc router wasn't finished at the time. Still a lot of sanding etc. The religious symbols are on a turntable so you can "dial" your favorite. They are cut by hand. The sculpture is 800mm high.

I recently had an animated exhibition of digital abstracts at a regional gallery. The exhibition was made up of stills and 5 1/4 mins of animation. All the shapes morphed, stretched, and generally had a good time. All Zbrush shapes and MR render, Maya animation. It's really nice not to worry if your mesh is okay, you could use x-gons and it would look great!

I'm currently working on a piece that will appeal to more people. It will be a mech covered, hard surfaced, shadow boxed space marine with tripple jointed legs, goat horns,a huge sword and hundreds of things hanging around his waist.

"I'm currently working on a piece that will appeal to more people"

Hundreds of people will look at your artwork on here but they wont leave any comments and that doesnt mean that they didnt find this artwork just as appealing. I think its very unique, beautiful, and very refreshing. I saw this post earlier today and I appreciate all of it but I didnt leave a comment either. I also think to myself "I bet if this artist posted these pieces on DeviantART then people would be all over it". I'm starting to notice that community is oblivious to zbrush.

just my 2 cents I guess.
