good proportions! cool cloth sculpting too. My only suggestion is to work on the face and hair detail. the nose sems a little bulbous. are you adding eyes separately? or are you going to sculpt them? just wondering because it looks like she has no eyeballs yet

Thanks. You are right on all the points that you made in your comment. I really need to work the body over. It’s my first female character. I got a recent DVD from gnomon. Intro to character animation. it was extremely help but I couldn’t focus as much as I would have liked to because I have a freelance projects. Then out of all things I got blacklisted at CGtalk. silly.

Anyway I really didn’t paint in the nose or eyes, the body was a big of a rough because I was trying to get the form. By the time I got to the clothes I did settle into it a bit. Still needs a good bit of work. thanks. It good to know what is apparent and need fixing.

BTW, Verde

Saw your spider man. Looks great. This is the first time I did cloth with that threaded or mess texture for the cloth material. I just put an image and inflated. How did you do yours? I had been wanting to do one of those textures like that a long time.

Did you have special UV or just brushed it in some kind of what?

if you are talking about the honeycomb pattern on my Spider-Man model, I actually did that in photoshop with a seamless texture. Dont tell anyone

I’ll post some pics of the maps so u can see what I did. Its super easy.

Thanks I would like to see the little honeycomb pick but probably the UV.

I thought people were doesn’t some other technique but when I did it it was pretty easy to do.

It’s been ages since I posted. I was just learning Zbrush for character. Now I have moved on to texturing and animation.

I used MotionBuilder and Maya. I will be doing more rendering but I have been doing tracking.

There’s an explosion in this one so cover your ears…or just turn down the volume.

I work independently, so I am looking for freelance.

Some of these are wips so they were retop’d in the finals.

I like to show how I bring them in MotionBuilder and add mocap or dynamics. This one has water sim.

I used and old version of MotionBuilder but it still has a lot of great rigging features.

I always like Zbrush for Facial Rig and Morph targets. Here’s a sample rig in Maya but it transfers over to Mobu.

I didn’t do this model but I tracked it in live footage I shot and added some dynamics.

As I mentioned, I do right fairly well for most midrange jobs and budgets so if you need your models rigs I can be of assistance. Thanks. I’ll try to post images.

Hope you enjoy.

I really like how ZBrush change the retop with ZRemesher and UVMaster. I really like the idea of getting quick test paints and textures onto a character and into an animation program. It’s good for a one man army.

So my first character was here in the ZBrush “Action Hero” Challenge. So I am happy to be able to sculpt, texture, rig, and animate or simulate.

Thanks.
