    Default Character : Hellboy...

    Hi,
Thought I post some of my latest work over here too.
Heavy use of Zbrush, although more for basic sculpting and textures rather than displacement maps.
Modelled in XSI, tweaked, detailed and textured in Zbrush.
The textures are finilazed in photoshop.

At the moment Im changing it from hellboy into a more normal character for an animation I want to do, will update you people on that when I have some more to show.

Excellent results. Close ups are hard to pull of in CG but the second picture really looks the business. Very very cool

SubDivMe: Awsome take on Hellboy. I like this one more than the movie version. And I really like Ron Pearlman's version. The lighting is my favorite part of this one. Especially the cloeup of the eye. The original pic was too dar on the eyes. You did such an amazing job on them, ya wanna show 'em off.. Don't get me wrong, the Modeling and texturing rock too, but the lighting
    is Sweeeet...

Amazing work, especially the area around mouth and nose. But I got some Problems with his eyes. They didn´t seem so real... otherwise I don´t know how to describe it. There´s someting missing in it. But nevertheless... it is really great work!! Hope to see more.

How did you get that nice skin shader? apart from using MR in MAX, whats your topology for texture assignment?
