In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. Once DetectEdges is activated, we can convert our mesh to quad based geometry, create PolyGroups, and most importantly retain our clean or hard edges. I made this model based on a artwork from Leroy Van Vliet
You can check more of this amazing artist here http://leroyart.com/
I did this during my lunch time at work to practice Zbrush. No symmetry for this, I sculpt already in the pose from one single mesh, and I tried my best to capture the right feeling.
Thank's for watch
Hi folks
I made this model during a workshop for 3D print with Bernardo Yang, which was amazing, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about how to develop a sculpture for 3D printing.
I also have the pleasure to work with some amazing artists that gave me great feedbacks, so thanks Nilo, Ricardo and Eduardo for all the tips.
Hello Wilbert thanks
To regulate the size of the insertmesh I just set the size of my brush, then hold Ctrl that way the size will always be the same. =)
Hey R[COLOR=#AAAAAA]ogfa Thank you very much.
I'm glad you like...
I did this project during a WorkShop with Danilo Athayde, I learned a lot, and also met a lot of good artists, I would like to thank everyone for the suport.
So this is the final result.
This model is based on concept made by Jake Gumbleton.
Hey guys, it's time to make some updates in my Thread!
I will share some personal stuff that I made, since the last post here...
I made this model some time ago based on Esad Ribic artwork of Loki
I really like the style of the bard. Would look great in color.
On your archer, the fingers look way too thin in my opinion. Also the rolled up sleeves could use some work, as others have said.
Thank you again {SeanL}
I have nothing more to do in this model...
My computer does not support more...
This is the final image.
I hope you enjoy! Thomas 07.jpg
What you have done looks really good. I feel like he needs a few more layers of clothing and accessories, he still feels a little naked to me. Also the way the sleeves are pushed up on the arms looks wrong.
Nice.
Only crits from me are his Ass looks like it's eating his pants.
The cloth on his tunic doesn't seem to be effected much by the belts at his waist.
