In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. The Boxer
Here is a boxer that I have been working on. I hope to finish him up this weekend and I am planning on 3D Printing him up. Still need to work on texturing the skin and adding in the fine detail. The gloves, boots, and shorts are mostly done except for a couple of things. It gave me so much control to move them along the sculpt and then go back to refine the leather on the boots to make it look like they were pushing into the leather. Speed Sculpts
It has been a while but I wanted to share some quick sculpts I did. I think these may grow into something else.     Nice job on that eagle Paul - feels like it's been stitched in wire and thread, like they do on banners and uniforms. The head sculpts feel a little elongated towards the back atm, especially the first one! Great to see you at it again

Current Progress
Here are the first steps of texturing for the old man. Still have a longs way to go textured.jpg I also made some changes to the chest plate. I just didn't like what was going on in between the horses. Let me know what you think I still have to put something in the middle of the chest. I do have some ideas which I hope to work on his week.     good progress Paul Some small suggestions if I may be so bold - the chin of the old man looks strange and young in comparison to the neck - you have the folds on the neck appearing out of nowhere rather than continuing from the chin area... even if...

Another Project
Here is something else that I have been working on. This is the first part of a Roman Chest plate. I'm not to sure how I feel about the design in between the two horses. I was also thinking about putting a large eagle on the middle part of the chest. chest.jpg Here are some closer looks views.jpg Here is how I did the two designs on the plate. I used 2.5D to sculpt the designs out on a plane and then did an alpha grab of each, then converted them to stencils and used the alpha brush in 2.5D brushes. templates.jpg How I did the horse is I used a scan from a NextEngine Desktop Scanner that I got from the NextEngine team, then used size in deformations to make it skinny so I could use the mesh as a tool in Projection Master. This gave me a good outline and then I had to go and sculpt in all the detail. horse.jpg Let me know what you think. I am working on these two still and they both have a long way to go. Of course I have other things I'm working on too but these I would just like to get done. Thanks for looking. Paul

Large Images
Hello ZBrushCentral Do to popular demand I have made it so you can click on images and get linked to a page that has the images in a larger scale. The following parts have links. The pictures from the User Group Meeting Offload Studios 3D Prints Dimension 3D Prints More pictures on the bottom half. My last question is do you need larger images of the work that was used on our booth. I made those thumbnails pretty big as it is. I'm talking about the images that are under MORE IMAGES FROM SIGGRAPH part. Starting with Aaron Sims HULK. Let me know.
