Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's DetectEdges functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. Once DetectEdges is activated, we can convert our mesh to quad based geometry, create PolyGroups, and most importantly retain our clean or hard edges. Viking - 3d bust model
Hello everyone, My name is Taregh Saber and this is my very first post on zbrushcentral. I’m glad to join this community next to all the great artists here. This is 3d bust I did which was more of a practice for me. I’ve done the 3d base mesh in 3dsmax since I’m more comfortable with the software. I’ve added the details and beard on the 3d bust model in Zbrush. Then I took 3d bust back to 3dsmax for rendering. I believe 3dsmax offers the best lighting system and I can easy use lights on the 3d bust just like in the actual photoshoot and achieve the most realistic render. This leaves me with great results and I only needed to add one occlusion pass and a simple color correction in photoshop.
