Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's DetectEdges functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. Once DetectEdges is activated, we can convert our mesh to quad based geometry, create PolyGroups, and most importantly retain our clean or hard edges. This function can assist with future mesh editing including Dividing and sculpting or features that utilize PolyGroups.

Custom ZBrush Gizmo 3D for ZBrush 2018 | 2019
I like to share a few custom ZBrush Gizmo 3D for ZBrush 2018 | 2019. I wanted a more minimalist manipulator for better visibility while moving, rotating, & scaling subtools. I made a bunch of these Gizmos and narrowed down to two favorites. It's free. The installation instructions are included in the read me text file with the download. I hope you find them useful.

Dark Crystal Creature
Hi, my name is Thuan, first time posting. This is my first Zbrush project and Maya Mental Ray rendering. The model is based on Brian Froud’s concept art from "The World of the Dark Crystal". The final render is on an optimized model with normal maps aiming for next-gen in-game engine. Let me know what you think.
