nebular - thanks man its getting there
kaisasose - shader wise arnold is as straight forward as vray is in my opinion. I get similar looks with both. as soon as i am actually done this i will for sure give a detailed tutorial
cydethan - oh thanks man!
Bbyrnes - one day virtual reality could make this possible, imagine?
TibiNeag - thanks brother
Denzel - thanks!
veshmashinotordzija - if by eliusive you mean not many people use it and thus you have to learn alot on your own, yes i agree. however arnold is quite easy if one is used to something like mentalray from back in the old days. the fur is shaded by sampling the uv space of the rottweiler. here is some info https://support.solidangle.com/display/AFMUG/Hair. see "mapping textures"
3mm thanks man!
hitesh - oh man i wish! thanks for the vote of confidence
krenshaw - i will for sure do a breakdown of my fibermesh process. i think fibermesh is one of the most underrated sections of zbrush. alot of people give up thinking its not a real grooming tool for production. this could not be more wrong
joshfryer - thanks man
Thanks everyone for the warm comments it keeps me motivated to post.
Here is an update with a new tounge sculpt and texture, as well as some fur and lighting tweaks.
