Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's DetectEdges functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. Once DetectEdges is activated, we can convert our mesh to quad based geometry, create PolyGroups, and most importantly retain our clean or hard edges. This function can assist with future mesh editing including Dividing and sculpting or features that utilize PolyGroups.

Hi dear friends! Well i'd like to share with you the professional way i use Zbrush, since the hospital is ok to leave me work after a piece of my brain was taken off, and before illness would awake...lol I've been stone carver, so i needed to see reality, but maybe bigger than by printing. so i'm now building giant papercraft for clients. Here are some of the research i made to join my actual level.Enjoy! Thanks to @ThomasRoussel, father of all i do here!

A real model clothed from a great designer, @daria leonova, and a face of nobody, as a tool to study soul life ; also a football star Valère Germain of our place, for my sons fans of Olympique de Marseille. Well, if i spent some little time on a beautiful girl, my goal was to realise a great creation in Zbrush. So i did an Alien...but it seems i needed to give it live. 2,5 days of funny work in animation. Many Zbrush used for many pieces.

one of the magi of ZB models, is that you can use the low poly really easily for tests, as if the high poly is the final product. here, 10 seconds of render by frame.

many thanks guys @sudhan, @nebular, @gosthman_! you help me so much!!! Today is funny. Waiting very long for figurines from 3d printing, my papercrafts have also their first public life. those i'm working on are still coming firstly from Zbrush, before searching the low poly, or for painting it. Cthulhu from my design, star wars people from Tiny Patrick Biesse design, that you can see with a big papercraft of Leila, and Joker from William Maury's design. what production to choose....biggest and quckest...or 3d printing, with Zbrush details, little size and long time....ha ha ha!

Well, i'm so glad to see big size from 3d little and expensive prints...that i go on. tried a model designed by a friend; and also a render showing them...with 4 meters of highness... Horse is also coming...part of one of my zbrush...

Thanks @Ehren. Well process is mostly simple: after creating the modeling Zbrush, i work in Blender to create what will be the faces of paper model. It would be technically better to late more triangles..but i love rectangles...then i use Pepakura, very precise for the work. I print on paper and work on folds before cutting. then using simple glue. here it is!!

Hi. Well, i had some little problems with my body, and also my tablet..but all is going well. Though i had energy to resolve my deception with 3d printing...little and expensive. So i created paper models. I still think that before creating few faces in Blender, i have to create the original model in Zbrush. So here are the first models, Lion 60cm, girl 70cm, bear 100cm...:)
