Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's DetectEdges functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. Once DetectEdges is activated, we can convert our mesh to quad based geometry, create PolyGroups, and most importantly retain our clean or hard edges. This function can assist with future mesh editing including Dividing and sculpting or features that utilize PolyGroups.

Render 21 render (add textures and shading near final)! Refine the mask/dome to be screen accurate. Next step to match some screenshots from the movie ESB. Oh and Rogue One Thursday :P

Thank you, I want to go screen accurate so for now It's go enough but I still think I'm off to be screen accurate I use Softimage for the base mesh. Zbrush for the "details" and Maya for the render in Renderman.

New project for Comic-con 2017 Montreal: Vader bust 1:2. Plan to 3d print it and cast it in Resin and fiberglass for the dome This is my first WIP002. Feel free to comments or critics. I try to be screen accurate to Empire Strike Back version.
