Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's DetectEdges functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. I have no time or need to 'polish' my sculpts right now and I also like to see the strokes on sculpts (and paintings) Tarum, thank you I was looking for material rightnow for it but couldn't find my source.. I thought it was made by ZBro but it's not. Maybe someone will point you because these material pack is preety famous here I think. It's from forum for sure. Every material is called z[number]. Santis Thank you, I'm very gald you like 'my' girl Also you have right with shoulders of the 2nd. I always try to keep in mind such remarks. To keep the thread alive hera are few sketches of mine. Everything started as a sphere to evolve later one. Quick sculpting sesions from 30min trough 1 or , like weith the last one containg two characters, few hours. I have no time for more serious thinkgs now. Anyway, please leave a word or two. Thanks I had to reinstall the ZBrush and I lost all my MatCaps, so here is the Fast Shader.

Distribution of the massess
Thank you for words of encouragement. Really meaningful Here are three studies. Quick sculpts from mannequin - I tried to focus on the major forms, like in the "Distribution of the Masses" in Bridman's Drawing From Life book. Hope it went preety well.

Thank you KC. I always try to use references latelly. I collect them and that link would be very welcome Sorry for the delay but the more I sculpt, the less I show. Somehow I'm not happy with my results Two sculpts. Please give me your feelings. The lady was patterned on a existing sculpt in a Prague, but it wasn't mentioned to be exact copy of it.

Anatomy study
I've been busy with other things lately, but now I hope I will have more time for my personal stuff. Here are two sculpts - a male and female torso. I aimed them to be anatomically correct.As always all comments and critques are more than welcome.

Bullterier wip
Ok, I reshaped the dog - Neck is a little shorter and thiner. Snout is a bit rounder - I thought it was to stright before. Changed a pose a bit, aded whiskers and some other details on snout. I also did some tests with color and fur. Here'am at very experimental stage so it isn't very precise. I wan't to consider the model finished (shape, proportions). So if there aren't any problems I won't comeback to it. I'm considering to simulate the fur differently or just texture the model, without sculpting/simulating the fur. The quick polypaint test isn't so bad. What do you think? I ask for help, advices and critique

    The line down from the nose to the jaw is not straight. The jaws have to be placed further backwards. Using alphas sometimes looks better, sometimes looks worse. It depends on your model.

Ok, I redefined the snout trying to follow you. I studied the references under your tips and I must agree. Should be more correct now, but I feel I'm not there yet.

    Slightly smaller eyes and longer snout. Less overbite and the jaws have to be placed further backwards.

A girl in a winter hat
Thank you arianerocket, I am very glad to hear that. But this project has no hair (almost) I struggled with scarf... I tried many defferent variations and came up with this, but I'm not happy at all. I'll practice clothes fold more for sure. Maybe if I and you will like it enough, I will make a whole scene with this character.
